Yimino – Young pretenders to ‘warm electronica’ crown

I recently discovered the London based fantastic electronic collective Yimino with its’ large melodies, powerful drum lines, rhythmic sampling and unpredictable song structuring. According to the Plaid website Yimino are ‘young pretenders to warm electronica crown’.

I was one of the lucky ones who received the first Yimino EP and the initial album “The Evolution of Bulbuss And The Polymorphic Nightmare” for free from one of the guys (Henry). This was offered on the Yimino website but it seems it is no longer available. Anyway, check out the newest releases here, the Doe EP even contains a fantastic Plaid remix. Great stuff!
